“Putting aside a little time just for you and your camera once a month is a great idea and spending time with other like minded people is a really good way for you enjoy your hobby to the full and share your love of photography.
This is precisely why we started The Forum.”

About The Forum
If you were to ask any of our photographers who already attend why they enjoy The Forum they’ll talk most enthusiastically about having something interestingarranged every month that they can dip into. Then there is catching up with and making new friends. They’ll also mention being able to ask for advice about technique and equipment as being really useful and having the opportunity to see lots of other people’s work.
For us, well mainly we just enjoy taking photos like you and organising The Forum lets us share our ownenthusiasm with a group of photographers on a project which we find interesting and inspiring. It’s a time for us all to explore and refresh our photographic creativity.
Each month we explore a different photographic genre by
exploring practical camera techniques and theory to help you improve,
choosing the appropriate gear
analysing the style and images of a renowned photographer,
reviewing an informative book on the subject, (to be awarded to a participant at the end of the day)
inviting photographers to display their prints on the genre for peer comment and our constructive feedback,
welcoming input from local camera clubs,
PLUS there will be successful Royal Photographic Society Distinction panels from local photographers on display.
