Terms and Conditions

Participants Responsibilities

o The South West Photography School takes all reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of its students but does not accept responsibility or liability for any losses or injuries sustained by any participant how ever caused whilst attending one of our courses unless arising from a negligent act and/or omission on our part.

o It is the responsibility of every participant to take all reasonable care to ensure their personal safety, well being and comfort as well as safety of other people for the full duration of the course and while travelling between locations and must comply with all Health and Safety advice given by the tutor during the course.

o Young persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who is also booked onto the course and who takes full responsibility for the safety, care and actions of the young person.

o While attending a South West Photography School course participants may visit a number of different indoor and outdoor venues in a variety of weather conditions. Participants do so entirely at their own risk and have full responsibility for their own actions.

o We take no responsibility for any damage incurred to your photographic equipment or belongings while attending one of our courses. It us advisable that your camera and other equipment is adequately insured.


Indemnity

o You agree to indemnify and hold The South West Photography School and its agents harmless from and against all liabilities, legal fees, damages, losses, costs and other expenses in relation to any claims or actions brought against The South West Photography School arising out of any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions or other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website or courses attended.


Severance

o If any of these Terms and Conditions should be determined to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction then such Term and Condition shall be severed and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect and continue to be binding and enforceable.


Privacy Statement

o The South West Photography School is committed to protecting the privacy of anyone using our site and the confidentiality of any information that you provide us with. The purpose of this statement is to set out how we use any personal information that we may obtain from you.

o In general you can visit our website without telling us who you are and without revealing any information about yourself. If, however, you use our site more fully you will need to register and you will be asked to provide certain information such as your contact details. We will store this data and hold it on computer or by other means.

o We will not exchange any confidential information about you with any other third party unless legally obliged to do so

o We endeavour to take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee the security of any data that you disclose online and we will not be responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our negligence or wilful default

(b) For assessment and analysis e.g. marketing, customer and product analysis, to enable us to review, develop and improve our services. (c) To contact you with information of future courses and products that we may offer.
